SL vs PAK Day 3: Pakistan has a 12-run advantage after reaching the target on Day 2 of the second test between Sri Lanka and Pakistan. Day 2’s play was cut short by rain after 10 overs. This page gives you a summary of the weather for both days two and three of the SL vs. PAK match at the Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo and includes a pitch report for both days.
Pakistan has dominated play on the first day of this Test. They put on a spectacular display with both the ball and the bat, which has catapulted them to the top of the league. Sri Lanka lost early wickets after winning the toss and deciding to play. Abrar Ahmed also excelled on the pitch, scoring four goals. Within two days, Sri Lanka’s batting lineup was bowled out for 166.
Pakistan’s response suffered an early setback when they lost Imam, but after that, both Shafique and Masood performed well. Sri Lanka, though, blew a few opportunities. Jayasuriya dropped Shafique off his own bowling, and they didn’t appeal the lbw decision on Masood, which rescued him. They were always discovering new limits between them. On Day 1 of the Stumps, the visitors’ deficit is just 21 runs.
SL vs PAK Day 2 Overview
Rain delayed play in the morning session on Day 2, limiting it to 10 overs. Both Shafique and Babar performed well, and they helped put Pakistan ahead. Since tomorrow’s outlook does not seem promising, Pakistan will likely be keen to stick with their current bazball tactics. While Babar has played some exquisite shots in his limited stint, Shafique is dangerously close to a century.
Babar and Shafique on SL Vs PAK Day 3 Strengthen Pakistan’s status
With 8 wickets left, Pakistan holds a commanding advantage, but there is still a lot of time left in the contest. They bowled out Sri Lanka in two days and averaged nearly 4.50 runs per over while doing so.

SL vs PAK Day 3 Pitch Report
The course is obviously flat. The Sinhalese Sports Club Ground is a batting paradise with enough of turn and bounce for spinners to make an impact from the first day. Batsmen who are adept at handling spin will have a distinct advantage here.
Surface now has some grip, but not enough to defeat the batter. Bowlers will need to land accurate deliveries of spin to break through.
